To make things even easier for you to enjoy with friends and strangers, we're very excited to share this online matchmaking patch release.
Patch Notes
Online Updates: For all you online enthusiasts, we have heard the desire for matchmaking and have an early version available now. We wanted to get this into your hands as soon as possible but please note that this is a newly developed feature that has had limited time for testing. So, if you encounter any issues, please let us know and we'll make sure to clean this up ASAP. Note: As a result of bringing this in quickly, we've had to temporarily disable private online matches. This will be reintroduced very soon.
Steamworks Online Support: Epic Online Services requirements have been disabled for online play in favour of Steamworks. We have plans for crossplay support in our roadmap, and Epic Online Services is a requirement for this. As a result, we may revisit this in the future.
No Players Left Bug: We've fixed a bug that would occur if you run out of powers after a goal is scored. This is now resolved and the game will now correctly end with a loss when your players are gone.
Music Fixes: A few fixes are in for music issues related to menus.
Remote Control Power Frequency: The Remote Control power up can no longer be collected from Meat Pies.
Additional Fixes: A few more small fixes for achievements, made it so you're not able to handball when very close to goal (it will alway be a kick, even with a button tap) and a season mode tooltip has been added.
For those of you looking forward to updates on console, we're sorry that those take a little bit longer but rest assured that they are on the way as soon as they are approved for release.
