Alchemice arrives on Steam in 2025

Dear alchemist,

After many months of hard work, we feel ready to take a step forward toward the launch of AlcheMice — our tactical deck-building game now has its own Steam page! We can also reveal that it will be released sometime in 2026.

Now, please watch the gameplay teaser we have prepared for this special occasion:

What's AlcheMice?

It's a turn-based tactical game that combines the best of the roguelite genre with deck creation and strategic positioning on beautifully crafted isometric spaces.

Set in a twisted and stylized version of 16th-century Granada, you play as Tycoh, an apprentice alchemist seeking for the legendary Philosopher's Stone. As it's believed to be a key ingredient for the elixir of life, our brave protagonist will use it to save his family from a terrible illness.

But first, you must break Gusparda's curse. This dreadful witch condemned him to live in an endless loop with the power of her tarot cards. Improve your deck and master alchemy to outsmart your enemies in multi-level dungeons across the city, face some tough narrative choices and get out of the neverending cycle that resets your world… although your deck and gear remain, making you stronger every time.

Key features

  • Survive a three-day-and-night cycle to complete your search for the Philosopher’s Stone, and get the recipe to save Tycoh’s family. Will you break the curse… or let it darken your fate?

  • Tailor your deck to your playstyle. Customize it with hundreds of tarot cards and combine offensive, defensive, tactical, and alchemical effects to create unique synergies. Time resets at the first light of the fourth day, but your deck and some secrets stay with you.

  • Craft unique cards or attribute modifiers to counter evolving enemies that change with time. Find ingredients throughout the city and learn new recipes as you progress in the game, or try to discover them through experimentation!

  • Deploy your best tactics on multi-level grid-based 3D dungeons. Terrain isn’t just scenery—it’s part of the fight, so take advantage of the space and its elements to protect yourself and destroy your enemies in the most creative ways.

  • From crumbling castles to haunted markets, explore the mystical side of Granada's history through esoteric engravings, occult codices, and alchemical myths. Legends often hide fragments of truth. Knowledge is power... and it's at your fingertips, if you really desire it.

What's next?

At this point, the basic features we listed above are already implemented in the game. AlcheMice is playable from beginning to end, so we're focusing our efforts on fixing critical bugs, designing and adding new tarot cards, and adding depth to the alchemy system that boosts the deck. We'll explain these aspects in detail in future entries!

There's still a long way to go, so we hope you'll walk with us and be our guiding light. For now, please add the game to your wishlist and follow us on social media, where we post weekly updates about AlcheMice and the studio.
