Progress Report - February 2026

As mentioned in our last update, only a significant amount of work would have had to be completed since New Years Eve to warrant an update this early; and I have done exactly that. Ladies, gentlemen, and everyone in-between I am happy to finally announce that the script for VOIDWATCH: CrossLust has been COMPLETED! That’s right, Prologue, Act 1, Intermission 1, Act 2, Intermission 2, Act 3, AND Epilogue have been FULLY realized on paper! I began rewriting the story while updating everyone on April 7th of 2025, this makes the total completion time for the script at just short of 10 Months with all of the ups and downs throughout concepting. Below is the length of each section of the script based on page count.

NOTE: Earlier sections of the game had more descriptive sections while later sections were written to account for extra room to change details if need be.

Prologue:   22 Pages
Act 1:   90 Pages
Intermission 1:   20 Pages
Act 2: 155 Pages
Intermission 2:   35 Pages
Act 3: 129 Pages
Epilogue:   14 PagesTotal Page Count: 465 Pages

A 465 Page count is an insane number to say out loud considering I wrote everything down over the course of nearly a year. If I account for the BAD ENDING it would be closer to 500 Pages I bet. Yes, you read that correctly; this game will feature a different ending that changes the way Act 3 plays entirely, however that is for me to know and you all to find out upon release. Currently the work left to accomplish is documenting the database so I can properly integrate the mechanics for the game. This includes Skill Sets, Party Member Stats and Progression Systems, Enemy Stats, Items, Weapon Catalog, Equipment, and Accessories. However this can be accomplished alongside the digital development of the game, which brings me to our even bigger news for today.

Digital development has technically already begun as of the end of January, but only the project file was created for it. It will OFFICIALLY begin no later than Monday, February 16th, 2026! Implementing features from Iteration 2 such as custom scripts, tile sets, character sprite sheets, while also creating NEW assets to pair with the older ones. That’s not even the full announcement! Thanks to my University, I have the opportunity to work on this game for a Game Design project like before. Therefore we will be creating a short DEMO for Iteration 3 that will be FREE TO PLAY once fully touched up! No official date yet, but expect this demo to be available in Q2.

The future looks promising for the project, but that doesn’t mean the work stops here. This will be the final progress report before the RELEASE of the demo! I hope you are all keeping your spirits high in 2026 so far, and I look forward to presenting the demo upon its completion!

Community31 Dec 2025Iteration 3 - New Year's Eve 2025 UpdateToday is New Years Eve, the final day before we enter 2026. This year has been filled with much hardship, trials, and tribulations. This year has seen the rebirth of this project for the third time. When I came to this decision I was very demoralized, believing everything my College professor had said about my work ethic and how maybe I "don't want this enough". I have proven him wrong time, an…Community9 Nov 2025Iteration 3 - Update #13: November 8th, 2025Alright, let's jump into business today everyone. Welcome to Update #13! We are about 20 pages into Act 3, and the overall idea on 1/3rd of Act 3 is in the writing stage. The 2/3rd will be in the writing stage very soon at this rate, and the final 3rd is slated to be entering the writing stage by December. We are better than on track, but not enough to be considered 25% just yet. I'd give it an…Community19 Oct 2025Iteration 3 - Update #12: October 18th, 2025This update was originally meant for October 15th, however since Itch.io was down I postponed the update until the website was up and running. It made things less complicated. Without any further adieu, today's update is to discuss the long-term plans for the new Roadmap, along with longer wait times between monthly updates to maintain more interesting content worth reading. As of today, accord…
