This is Günther Gewinn speaking again. Your feedback on the demo has been absolutely fantastic! Thank you so, so much. Of course, we're already hard at work on further development and have a little preview for you today.
🧳 A Look Into the Future: What's Coming 🧳
We are planning to release a major update for the demo before Christmas. We will announce an exact release date in the coming weeks.
Based on your wishes and ideas, we are currently focusing on the following areas:
More In-Depth Upgrades: We are developing a comprehensive upgrade system. This will allow you to specifically improve all of your equipment, from conveyor belts to scanners.
Progression and Core Gameplay: Instead of buying licenses, you will earn promotions for good work, giving you responsibility for new, international destinations. We are also making error detection more realistic: In the future, even incorrect bags will have real destination codes, like "JFK", instead of placeholders like "XXX".
Airport Atmosphere: We are replacing the outgoing conveyor belts with large rolling gates. When a new flight is due, a gate will open, revealing a view of the tarmac, and a baggage cart will enter the hangar for loading. Furthermore, we are significantly increasing the number of baggage designs. Our goal here is to clearly set ourselves apart from well-known competitors by strongly focusing on the airport fantasy.
The Substance Sniffer is getting (even) better: Your four-legged colleague will receive various upgrades and is set to play an even more important role in baggage handling as the game progresses.
Upgrades for Risky Rolf: Your shady business partner, Rolf, is also getting a new upgrade path. This will ensure his services remain relevant even with a higher volume of baggage and can be better integrated into your automated processes.
General Improvements: Of course, many smaller adjustments based on your feedback are also being implemented. This includes controls, tweaks to the user interface (UI), and, of course, bug fixes.
