We are thrilled to announce that a very early demo build of Space Manager is now live.
This prototype is still in its early stages, but we wanted to get it into your hands as soon as possible to give you a feel for the scope, mechanics, and potential of the game.
What you can do in this demo: Even though this is an early build, there is plenty to tinker with. Right now, you can:
Navigate the Solar System: Explore the map and get a feel for the scale of your future agency.
Manage your Fleet: Purchase new vehicles and launch them into space.
Achieve Orbit: Master the mechanics of reaching Low Earth Orbit (LEO).
Master the Systems: Dive into the fully functional guidance computer to control your flights.
Execute a Mission: Complete our first proof-of-concept mission to see how one of many gameplay loops could work.
What’s coming next? Currently, flights are limited to Low Earth Orbit, but this is just the beginning. Future versions of Space Manager will expand your reach dramatically to include lunar and planetary missions, as well as actual landings on other celestial bodies within our solar system.
We need your feedback! While there is only one official mission available right now, the sandbox is open for you to play around in. Our primary goal with this demo is to gather as much feedback as possible so we can improve and enhance the core experience.
The final direction of Space Manager has yet to be completely determined, and we want you to help us chart that course.
If you have ideas for features, quality-of-life improvements, or balance changes, we would love to hear them. Please drop your thoughts, ideas, and bug reports in the Steam Discussions (or join our Discord Server - https://discord.gg/tp3QE7Gg).
We hope you will enjoy this little demo experience.
