Clarissa

The queen of Vermeil and Eleanor's older sister. She insists that returning to the Sacrosanctum is the only option to save Vermeil from the scourge of the Crystal Encroachment. She knows that doing so would break the covenant with the Wyverians, and is prepared even to go to war with Azuria to achieve her aim.

Corbin

A Hunter and explorer, traveling from Hunter territory. He and his Palico PK take on assignments from the Guild as they travel where Corbin's curiosity leads them. Though he's aware of the existence of Riders, he's never met any in person. As such, he's quite excited to meet the Rangers.

PK

He travels with Corbin, supporting him as his loyal Palico. He's especially skilled at waking Corbin up—and not especially gently. With daily practice, he's perfected the most efficient wake-up method.

Arkveld

A Flying Wyvern with chain-like wings that end in bladed tendrils. It can extend and retract these tendrils at will, dispatching prey with deadly efficiency.

Ajarakan

This Fanged Beast affixes molten metals to its carapace, and the friction resulting from those minerals rubbing together allows it to accumulate heat and cause explosions.

Malzeno

This elegant Elder Dragon is known for its silver carapace. It stalks the night to drain the energy from its prey. Once it has drunk its fill, it reveals its dreadful true form in all its glory.
