It's almost been a week since we launched the demo and after about ~100 people playing it we got some data trickling in and some good leads on what we need to improve! So, before we release our big patch on Friday, we decided that we need to get some of the improvements out sooner. For one, we adjusted the player onboarding experience since it is still very difficult. And we also changed some conversation mode choices, after we identified it as a pain point from some player feedback we received.

Updated the chapter introduction visual (it's a line)
some Tutorials need to be closed manually now, and some tutorials are longer. With this change, we hope to reduce the chance of vital tutorials being overlooked and thus reduce the frustration of being lost and not knowing what to do next!
Reworked the second Hoffmann Conversation Mode. The feedback we received was a frustration, that the choices of the given dialogue paths seem very narrow and unflexible. With this change, we're testing to have a wider array of answer fit a dialogue path. In Detail (SPOILER WARNING):
While previously, you only answer in about 3 specific ways + 1 catch all for anything that could not be categorized. We've adjusted it now to allow more dialogue branches that for example categorize your answer into a good excuse or a bad excuse.
Added additional quest state in prologue for better player onboarding
Hard to open shelves and cupboards. We identified that it's a hardware issue with some brands, we're working on a solution to improve that!
That's it for now! Thank you to everyone who gave it try already, and we're looking forward to more feedback!! Your Riding Turtles Team 🐢💚
