Hi everyone,

First of all, thank you again for all the feedback you’ve been sharing after playing the demo of An Eggstremely Hard Game. A lot of you mentioned issues related to the camera, especially discomfort, sudden zooms, and moments where obstacles made it hard to see what was going on.

Based on that feedback, I’ve prepared a new update focused mainly on improving the camera experience, along with a few smaller fixes and a tiny seasonal surprise.

Here’s what’s new in version 0.2.1:

Camera System Improvements

The camera system has been reworked to feel more comfortable and predictable during gameplay.

A new system has been implemented where certain annoying obstacles become transparent when they block the camera’s view. This helps keep the action visible without relying on aggressive camera movements or sudden zoom changes like before.

The goal is to make the camera feel smoother, clearer, and less intrusive, especially in tighter areas of the level.

This change is experimental, so I’d really love to hear your thoughts.
Let me know if you prefer this new camera behavior, or if you’d rather go back to the previous one.

Minor Bug Fixes

This update also includes several small bug fixes to improve overall stability and polish across the demo.

A Small Christmas Surprise

There’s also a small holiday-themed surprise hidden in this update.
You can enable it from the Match Settings menu, if you’re feeling festive.

As always, your feedback is incredibly valuable and helps shape the game with every update. If you have thoughts about the new camera system, encounter any issues, or just want to share your experience, feel free to drop by the Discord and let me know.

Thank you all for playing and supporting the demo.

Best,
Adri
