Version 1.3 (Great Wilderness World) Update

How to switch to the large map branch

Due to the fact that the Great Wasteland has been transformed into a complete map in this update, we have split the content of version 1.3 into different branches to avoid some players being unable to adapt to the significant changes. Players can choose the branch they wish to play from.

Right-click on the game in your Steam library, select ‘Properties,’ and choose the “Beta” branch ‘oudertest1.3-Large Map Version Branch.’

This will allow you to play in large map mode. To play the older version of the game, switch the branch to ‘None’ to revert to the default version.

Update Content Overview

1. Great Wilderness World map overhaul

• The first world upon launching the game is now a seamless Great Wilderness map. Players will be born and explore within this world.

• The main storyline before the Kungfu Contest mission has been completely remade. We welcome everyone to experience it and share your feedback with us.

• The previous map gameplay will be retained in the Small World

• Note for migrated saves: to explore new content in the Great Wilderness world, you must reset/recreate the Great Wilderness region in your save file.

2. New Challenge‑duel system

• When issuing a Sect Challenge, the game enters a special duel interface.

• Players can freely choose characters for combat.

• During fights, you may use support actions like Inspire, Sneak attack, and Taunt.

• NPCs will use these support actions too, based on their personality—counter-effects are possible.

3. New Sect interface

• We’ve overhauled the Sect menu and sect tax logic.

• Now sect taxes yield only virtual resources, usable directly for constructing buildings.

• Current functions include expanding sect territory and upgrading—more sect features will be added in version 1.3.

4. Map exploration

• The new open world is still sparsely populated—please forgive the early-stage emptiness.

• Feel free to freely explore the Great Wilderness.

• If you encounter interesting locations, please take screenshots and post them in the group. Any rare event ideas or exploration spots are welcome and may be used for future content.

Note: In this version, some areas may have pathfinding errors causing players to fall through the map into water. If that happens:

use the Teleport button in the cheat menu.
