We get a lot of questions about the Vaygren universe, so it's time for a Lore Q&A!
We're still working on Episode 2. Once it's all done (for sure) and we've uploaded it to steam for final checks, this is the first place we'll post about it. It's no substitute, we know, but here are some answers to your lore questions to hold you over!

How many races exist within the Vaygren universe?
Lots! Between the game, animations, and random pinups, Vaygren has had/will have appearances from Vaymen, Elves/Dark Elves, Nekomata, Succubi, Lizardkin, Ogren, Oni, Devils, Kitsune, Naga, Inugami, and of course, the Vyrus.
There's more than just these though. Vaygren is a pretty diverse world!
Also there are humans, though they aren't native to the world.
Will there be ?
Maybe! If we feel like the race works within the world, we may include them, or at least a Vaygren-ized version of them.
The Vyrus are super cool! Can you give us any more details on the vyrus race and any hints about the role they'll play going forward?
The Vyrus are the boogiemen (boogiewomen?) of the Vaygren universe. They are primarily creatures of instinct, impulse, and desire, unable to plan ahead and have no willpower to resist their own impulses. Coupled with their immense size, strength, libido, and endurance, this makes them a very dangerous foe.
The only way to control vyrus is for a more powerful being to threaten them, as self-preservation is just as strong as the desire to fight or fuck (so long as they haven't worked themselves up into a frenzy). That said, vyrus are creatures of "the moment", so they will not obey orders for long if the source of their fear is not present.
This makes them extremely volatile and hard to control. As such, the vyrus legions are kept separate from the rest of the armies and away from the population. To ensure they are kept in line, the empire makes sure they are kept... entertained.
This isn't a foolproof plan, of course, and if not monitored carefully, the vyrus can work themselves up into a frenzy and go on rampages. In such a case, one of the empire's Generals would be dispatched to handle the situation. If the vyrus are too far gone and won't respond to the presence of a more powerful opponent, more drastic measures are taken.
Worse case, the entire group of vyrus would be eliminated. The empire is not too worried about this though... it's easy enough to make more.
Can you tell us if the Vyrus are naturally occurring creatures? That is, are they something artificially created?

Since the entire world of Vaygren is composed only of women, how are children conceived?
The exact mechanics of how it all works in Vaygren are a bit esoteric, and have a large spiritual component to them. Both intercourse and insemination via a dick (you can't just squirt it up in there with a turkey baster) are required to conceive a child, but they aren't the ONLY requirements. Additionally, REDACTED REDACTED REDACTED REDACTED REDACTED REDACTED REDACTED REDACTED.
Can different races reproduce with each other, and if so, what race would their offspring be?
They can indeed! Any non-sterile, sapient race can conceive with any other. The child will almost always be of the mother's race, but there's still a chance the child will inherit her sire's race. Circumstances around the conception can also shift this one way or another.
The physical appearance of the child will be a mixture of non-racial specific features. ex, the Nekomata child of a Nekomata and a Lizardkin (birthed by the Nekomata), will never have scales, but other features (eye color, face shape, etc) will be a mix/blend of the parents'.
How do animals reproduce in Vaygren?
Same way the sapient races do, although they can't cast the spells to grow a dick at will. That said, they don't usually need to, due to how "natural" dickening works.
Why are there no men in the world of Vaygren? Just curious about the creative decision.
As mentioned in the last Q&A… Cyberunique doesn't like drawing balls.
That's why Vaygren is a female-only world. It's grown a bit beyond that, but that's the initial reason. :P
