The latest firmware is now available and we're bringing a couple new, heavily requested features.
Recoil Mode is used to change how the recoil works either as Single shot, Full Auto, or even disabled. We’ve added a new mode called 3-Shot Burst. When you pull the trigger once, the device will fire 3-shots and result in three recoil cycles in quick succession. This can be used to change game play as the device fires will shots instead of one. Try it out on Blamcon Shooting Gallery where you are limited to 6 bullets before having to reload. It really changes the dynamic of the game play.
The Recoil Toggle is only a feature that works on the Vyper model which has the Aux Button that is linked to this function. This is a new setting that allows a user to to pick or assign a button to provide this function. You can even assign specific button combos so that it isn’t easily or accidentally triggered. This is especially useful for models that only have three buttons, Trigger, A, and B. In this case, a button combo works well if you want a way to toggle between recoil modes during game play.
A new configuration setting has been added that will allow the user to configure which Recoil Modes can be toggled using the Recoil Mode toggle function. Historically, this function is only available on the Vyper model by using the Aux Toggle side button. We’ve done this because we’ve added a new 3-shot burst recoil mode that users may not want to use during game play, or allow it to be optionally added so users can make use of it for specific games. This will default to the existing setting where you can cycle between Single and FullAuto modes. Now you can set up different combos, or even just have a single mode so there’s no switching at all.
A new setting has been added to the General Tab that allows a user to select from one of three different Recoil timings. There are 1 of three settings:
1. Standard – (default)
2. Enhanced
3. Max As the names suggest, each one provides a faster timing (aka shorter). The actual timings are baked into the firmware, and are based on tested values. The differences help achieve different RPMs that are hard to tell by human inspection.
