There is more content coming for MatchyGotchy! We have had all sorts of feedback coming our way, both good and not so good and we have listened to all of it. One consistent request has been that we add more to the game. More food, more games and that’s why we decided to include more of everything! More cleaning, medicine options, and entertainment activities to do with your favorite star. We have also taken into consideration commentaries regarding how part of the experience can be improved and we are revising the difficulty curve of some achievements, as well as the pacing of the game. Considering this is a big update, we are working on a chunk of new content for an affordable DLC to complement what we already have – there will be updates found in the main build too, but most of the new content will be part of a DLC.
For example, we know a lot of people are looking for different games besides the guessing game and we are adding several more including ‘Hacky Sack’ which is a skill based game of clicking and timing. Also, we are including brand new fun things such as an in-game store to customize food and clothing, and ‘Ask the 8 Ball’ mini game to add more fun interactions with your star. There will be new kinds of food with different reactions, new locations including “Matchy Mart” to buy supplies and the “Fitting Room” to customize your pet’s duds.
Including this as a transaction, we can now add the Steam Cards we originally designed! Steam wouldn’t allow cards before because the game was entirely free. Either way, the original MatchyGotchy will continue to be free, this DLC is just an optional extra add on for the Matchyverse community that wants more from the game.
