Hello citizens of the Matchyverse! After months of hard work we can finally show all the awesome things we have got for you!
We’ve been working all kinds of new fun for you so let’s split the good news in three big chunks:
First, MatchyGotchy gets a huge update.
We included cloud save, a tutorial to make console actions clearer, notifications to understand your star better and you can actually have an intergalactic pool party for all those who finished the game. We have a log of all the tweaks and changes in detail right here on the steam forums.
Second, introducing MatchyGotchy Pack!
At Silverware Games we want to provide fun experiences hoping to invite everyone to reconnect with that childlike wonder with us. Every day can be stressful and sometimes difficult, that is why we think it is important not to lose that sense of awe to find joy in little things in life. That’s why we decided to provide a creative opportunity to explore that inner child in all of us, so we designed a bunch of original cute papercraft models to continue to enjoy MatchyGotchy.
They are fairly simple to put together, all it takes it’s a bit of time, scissors and glue! This papercraft is a perfect activity to do with family or by yourself. There is a laboratory diorama, a character booklet and a cute stand to display either of them on your desktop. And by purchasing the DLC you are supporting the studio allowing us to continue to offer more creative opportunities for fun, including video games coming to Steam. Besides the paper models, there is a manual pack that includes information about what the DLC brings along a comic that will tell you the story of how we decided to come up with a tamagotchi like experience like MatchyGotchy.
Third and finally, MatchyGotchy Z is coming!
We were working on a gigantic update for MatchyGotchy, hoping that the DLC would allow us to include Steam Cards like we always wanted, but we learned there were some money requirements to these that we considered a bit too steep – so ultimately decided to put all this new content, and hopefully the cards, under a much more reasonable price tag. That’s how the idea of MatchyGotchy Z came along, and it has given us the opportunity to do so much more than what we originally intended for the free MatchyGotchy version.
There is so much more content already done:

* Bunch of new kinds of food that affect your Stars’ productivity and growth.
* New locations like MatchyMart and Zootlandia.
* Customization of your pet’s outfit and console.
* New Matchyverse characters and more!
