We are back with more sneak peeks at an upcoming update - and this time, we’ll take a closer look at changes to bell towers, village progression, shrines, and more. Dig into the details below and stay tuned... because there's more to come!
In the upcoming update, we decided to give you more control over how you plan and grow your settlements, through the heart of the village: the bell tower.
You will be able to control your population limits depending on the new bell tower tiers. Upgrades happen one tier at a time, and each new tier will unlock a higher villager cap. This gives you more strategic freedom in expanding your dynasty - whether you build small production outposts or thriving central towns!
We’ve made crafting alarm bells a little more straightforward. You will be able to craft them by yourself, starting with a basic wooden version available for handcrafting. The abbot will no longer control their supply, meaning he will no longer decide how many villages you can establish. But don't forget about him just yet - you’ll still want to visit him to unlock the highest tiers!
Instead, we’ll introduce a new overall village limit, which grows as your dynasty level increases.
We know shrines are an important part of the culture, and we decided to give them some love and more meaning. Right now, shrines only increase your movement speed. But in the upcoming update, each shrine will have its own unique effect!
We also added two new kamis: Hachiman and Tenjin.
How wonderful is a bath in an onsen after a long day's work in your village? Your character will find out soon! In order to pull you even deeper into life in old Japan, after taking a bath in an onsen, your character's stamina will be elevated, and health will recover faster.
