Today the very first playtest for Red Recon: 1944 begins!

Head over to the game’s Steam page, click the big green "Request Access" button, and download the game. After that — you’re good to go!

During the playtest you’ll complete training at a military camp near Pskov and carry out your first combat mission. If you’ve got enough guts, wit and patience, of course — it won't be an easy task!

Please note: this is an early version of the game — think of it as a pre-alpha build.

Gameplay mechanics, technical performance, and other elements are still in active development and will continue to evolve all the way up to release.

We’ve listed the known bugs and rough edges in the Steam Community Hub, but if you spot anything we’ve missed — please let us know about that.

And of course — share your thoughts, feedback, and suggestions! Invite your friends, spread the word, and enjoy your time in Red Recon: 1944.
