We have another devlog for you today, and we wanted to showcase to you a little more about who the characters are that keep coming to your store, their favorite foods, and, most importantly, a small spoiler-free insight into who they really are.

💴 橋本 源蔵 Hashimoto Genzo 💴
Your landlord, who believes in finders keepers and that everything belongs to him. He hates Akiba, it's noisy and loud, and yet he stays there to control things "on foot" as a way to train his character, and of course, he loves the rent money that is guaranteed to come in when owning a high-traffic store in a busy location.

Food
Likes: Grilled street food (especially chicken skewers), which reminds him of post-war Akihabara and where he came from.
Dislikes: Natto, he's openly disgusted by it, thinks food shouldn’t “behave like that”.
Hobbies
Bonsai cultivation. He maintains dozens of trees, some over 30 years old. It’s a quiet obsession no one is allowed to see.
Favorite Game
Beach Head (1983) a tactical arcade game about breaking through enemy defenses.
🪣 バケツ Baketsu 🪣
The mystery behind the online Pac-Man champion who lives directly above you! You don't know much about them, but it seems they might be healing from a traumatic situation, and luckily, a police officer helped to arrange an apartment above your store for them to escape. Despite everything, they still show generosity by giving you a spare controller when you first open your store.
They also know everything that is happening in the neighborhood without ever being seen.

Before you stands Inspector Sakamoto! He may have some strange sayings, but that's because he’s afraid of silence, like an actual phobia. That’s why he always has something making noise: a radio, a device, even his own voice. Still, this police inspector keeps the streets of Akiba safe.
With his trusty flashlight that he treats as his faithful partner, he doesn't have the trust anymore to be tied to another inspector again after what happened. he chases criminals down!

Likes: Katsudon, no comments, that's how he would answer about it himself.
Dislikes: Tofu, it's “too quiet,” which genuinely unsettles him.

Leisure Suit Larry (played secretly in the 90s “for cultural research”, but will never admit it)
💕 涼美 春日 Suzumi Haruhi 💕
Working as a Hostess to prove she can survive on her own, and she might also be Yamato's girlfriend, but we're not too sure yet. Her whole “cheerful chaos” personality, which is very calculating, that he finds so captivating, might just be her in survival mode.

Dislikes: Gobo (burdock root), it's just too slow and annoying to prepare.

Fixing and disassembling devices, which she forced herself into because she believes hobbies should only be “useful.”

None, she genuinely doesn’t have time for games.
🐲 星野 結衣 Hoshino Yui 🐲
There isn't much you know about this little girl. She treats her Eggotchi like it's an extension of her. Keeps it warm, feeds it onigiri, and cares for it. But when it breaks, and we repair it for her, we can't possibly charge her, can we?

Likes: Ice cream, she'll eat all of it, but she thinks the fruity ice cream isn't "real" ice cream
Dislikes: Goya (bitter melon), she's always forced to eat it by her grandmother. It's 'healthy'.

Collects keychains and tiny figures. Each one has a name and a story that she imagined they've lived.

Well, her Eggotchi of course, which she fully believes is alive!

青山 匠 Aoyama Takumi
He won the local masters competition, but on a technicality. He came in second. The only person who could have beaten him didn’t show up to claim the reward. The previous master, his old friend, had disappeared.
He’s not trying to prove he’s the best. He’s trying to prove the win meant something to him.

May 5 (Taurus)
Food
Likes: Oyakodon, it's simple, filling, unchanged for decades. He eats it out of habit as much as preference.
Dislikes: Omurice, he thinks it's “too cute,” too bright. Feels like food for children and tourists, not for him.
Hobbies
Restores antique mechanical watches.
No one knows he does this because it’s personal for him. His first broken watch was a gift from the previous master, given for practice, and ever since, it's been his passion.
Favorite Game
None, he considers games a waste of time.
