Another Tactical Assault VR Release?!
That’s right! It's big, it's eclectic, and it's going to unlock a whole new approach to TAVR. The Surrender Update is launching Thursday, April 10th — and it will bring new mechanics, content, and missions to the game!
The update includes:
Surrender & Arrest System
– Tactics matter more than ever. Enemy NPCs can now surrender. Use your voice-over commands (Joystick UP) and flashlight to force compliance, then secure them with zip ties. This introduces a SWAT-inspired arrest system, giving you more non-lethal options when clearing rooms. Expecting you all to get really creative with this one.
Void Remastered
– The classic Void map has been completely rebuilt with enhanced visuals and refined details
New Shootout Map "Sand"
– A high-intensity urban warzone where you’ll fight off waves of enemies in up to 6-player co-op on standalone and 8-player co-op on PCVR
New Weapons
– Expand your arsenal with the M110 Sniper Rifle, LVAW Rifle, Five-seven Pistol, Beanbag Shotgun, and a new mystery gun (think UK special forces…)
More Avatar Customization
– New backpacks, character gear, and female operator options to further personalize your experience.
Realism Upgrades
– New enemy animations and enhanced rifle sounds for deeper immersion
