The Altar and Bonus Levels

We're in the home stretch of development and have been having a lot of fun implementing our final feature: The Altar.

What is the Altar?

As you play through the main story, you'll discover and collect dozens of unique items in your Lunchbox, but there's limited carrying space. When you don't have room to hold anymore, Roadkill the cat will appear to take your discarded items as offerings. Those items will appear in the home menu on his Altar.

Bonus Levels

As a reward for your time collecting items, we've hidden some exceptionally tricky bonus levels in a handful of items. All you have to do is select one of these special items on the Altar and a portal will open to a hidden level! Some of these levels are so hard, that we've only been able to beat certain areas once, so we can't wait to see how you all fair. It'll be worth it: completing all of them will get you a steam achievement and bragging rights (with us at least!).

We'll leave it up to you to discover which items unlock these new levels, but we plan on adding more in the coming months. There are 33 items afte…Little BugCommunity26 Dec 2018We're designing new bonus levels and we want to hear from you! When we were in the home stretch of Little Bug, we had some gameplay ideas that didn't quite fit in the story - so we put them in bonus levels. Very soon, we are going to upload a few more - but before we do, we want to hear your thoughts on what would make a fun, wacky, bizarre and/or challenging Little Bug level! No idea is a bad idea here. I made one where the camera is flipped upside down,…Little BugCommunity19 Dec 2018Patch NotesWe released a teeny tiny patch yesterday across all digital storefronts. · Fixed a bug that caused certain collectible items to be invisible in the lunchbox. · Increased the trigger area of firefly clouds in the St. John's Wort bonus level. · Adjusted the spacing of certain shooty hands ever so slightly: There was a puzzle that was extra difficult to solve if players didn't trigger a specific s…
