Another round of playtests starts... today!

This round is an important one, as it covers all the changes we've made over the past month - mainly some big efforts to burn down the tech debt from the prototyping stage. 🔥 We basically reworked the entire technical backend of the game! 🛠️

You can head to the game's Steam page and check it out right now :)

Here’s a list of the main changes:

  • Complete rework of the interaction system - mainly picking up, placing, movement, collision handling, and stacking of objects (+toggle snap (Space), +quest handling rework, +trashbox/savebox changes);

  • Object context switching (at the moment mostly wall objects - wall placement);

  • Tasks UI rework: hide finished tasks, but still show their "stars";

  • Conversation history (aka dialogue log);

  • Ability to interact while moving objects (e.g. opening drawers etc.);

  • Options panel rework (new options available) + options now also in the main menu;

  • Cursor icon rework (more precise cursors – mocap but fair);

  • MMB camera movement restored.

I'm super interested to hear what you think!

We prepared a survey for you (as always!), but you can also share your thoughts on Discord.

We are also around to help or explain everything 💛
