Halibel can inflict Lacerate with all of her attacks apart from her second and third strong attacks, allowing her to stop her enemies in their tracks and take the advantage in battle.
With the healing effect of her second strong attack, she can restore the Stamina of not just herself, but the whole party. Her third strong attack has a major boost with a higher effect and longer duration than usual, greatly boosting both the offensive and defensive capabilities of herself and her allies.
Her Enemies Defeated Bonus of "(Team/Party) Damage to Status Ailment-Affected Enemies +20%" activates after she has defeated 20 enemies to boost her and her allies' damage against status ailment-afflicted enemies.
With her ally-boosting Soul Trait "(Team/Party) Normal Attack Damage +25%," the skills "Flurry +2" and "Bruiser +100%," and her EX Skill "EX Bruiser +30%," Halibel can deal punishing damage with her normal attacks.
On top of the Soul Trait "(Team/Party) Normal Attack Damage +25%," she can share the EX Skill "EX Bruiser +30%" if she is used in the first link slot. This makes her highly effective as a character link for normal attack-focused characters.
Halibel has Captain Killer+ and a resistance to even Paralysis+ thanks to a Paralysis Resistance of 200%, so she really shines as a non-controlled character in Guild Quests with Captain Killer and increased melee damage rules.

Nelliel's second strong attack is a barrier technique that combined with "Multi-Barrier +2" allows her to shield both herself and her allies with multiple barriers to fend off enemy attacks. Plus, the major healing technique on her third strong attack is boosted by the skills "Medic" and "Healer," allowing her to heal all of the members of the party.
