Hi all,
We've added another map-specific weapon to Guardian's Gate. It's unlocked by doing damage over time, so head over to the map to unlock it. The weapon applies knockback and "lava" status to enemies. Lava status is new and it's stronger than oil fire, but slightly weaker than the Flamer mechanoid's "incinerate" status effect.
The weapon Magma Serpent Staff was added to Guardian's Gate.
The new weapon applies the Lava status effect. This effect was also added to the Damned enemy, so be careful when fighting them.
With the introduction of Lava, we wanted to keep Incinerate slightly stronger so we boosted it's damage by 25%. The Flamer follower is the only one capable of applying Incinerate, so it has become slightly stronger.
The New Years event is over and this means that gifts won't drop from enemies anymore.
The Shrines map mode was removed, since it's part of the New Years event.
Father Winter will still be in the Workshop for a week, in case you want to open your remaining gifts.
The new weapon is especially strong against enemies that have a weakness to fire, so I hope you enjoy using it.
