Season 9 is here! Below you’ll find everything new, improved, and fixed in this latest update. The Khorne team enters the pitch, redraft becomes official, and a brand-new Community Event awaits… Ready for the carnage?
New Team: The Khorne team is now available!
Eternal League: Dive into a brand-new solo experience.
Redraft System: Start fresh and build smarter—redraft is now available.
Community Event: The Bloodthirst Challenge is live. Will you dominate?
New Pitch Rule: The Underworld Denizen pitch special rule has been added.
Redraft enabled: In Season 9’s Official Ladder, teams must redraft every 20 matches, with a budget cap of 1,300,000.
TV Cap disabled: No more restrictions on team value.
Matchmaking update: The system has been revamped for a better competitive experience.
New tiering system introduced for Season 9.
Major AI update for a more challenging solo experience.
Friendly match rules options added.
Grid customization: You can now change grid color and thickness in the settings.
Skill icon updates: New icons for Iron Hard Skin and Defensive skills.
May 2025 Errata:
Tentacles now trigger before any other effect during a move.
Helmut Wulf: If Old Pro fails, it can now be retried in a later turn.
Hit and Run: The movement is now taken after resolving the Block action.
Added a button to create a new team when registering for a competition.
You can now inspect your opponent’s team directly from the competition summary screen.
New tab order: Inducements now appears between Recruitment and Customization.
Teams can now be sorted by most recently used.
Special rule icons have been added to team management screens.
Fixed a softlock issue when an opponent concedes at specific moments.
Fixed a visual issue where the timer reset to 7:30 after reconnecting.
Fixed a bug where planned sequences were canceled when using Pogo Stick or Hand-Off.
Wizards can now be used right after a touchdown.
Improved player search function when too many players have similar names.
Multiple interception candidates are now correctly highlighted.
Fixed rare softlocks during interception sequences.
Fixed scroll issue in the Prayer to Nuffle tab.
Bombardier players no longer auto-throw bombs when ordered to move.
Fixed bouncing behavior with Frenzy: the ball now bounces after the first block, before the second.
Plague Ridden no longer activates on crowd surfs.
Pogo Stick no longer triggers Diving Tackle.
Ivar Eriksson’s Raiding Party rule can no longer target rooted players—except himself.
Fixed bomb explosion affecting players when thrown outside the pitch.
Special actions may not be usable during the Blitz! kick-off event (May 2025 Errata).
Leaving a spectated game may not be possible if the match is paused during a cutscene.
Workaround: close and reboot the game.
Softlock after confirming an upgrade too quickly: Pressing the Confirm prompt immediately after selecting a characteristic increase may cause a freeze.
