As I am sure you are well aware — Wartorn is launching into Early Access on Steam on June 17, 2025! That’s right—your journey through the wartorn Isles of Talaur is just around the corner, and we can’t wait for you to dive in.
Since launch is rapidly approaching, we wanted to share a very brief update with you today, including a short video-version (see below), but be sure to be on the lookout for additional updates this week, including some additional information about our Early Access Roadmap. 👀

Early Access lets you play Wartorn while it’s still in development, giving you a chance to help shape its future. Your feedback will guide us as we polish gameplay, balance the elemental system, and expand the story. Games like Hades and Valheim became incredible thanks to their communities, and we’re eager to follow that path with Wartorn. Since our Steam Next Fest demo, we’ve made big strides—polishing combat, adding new units, and building out key systems—and we’re excited to hear your thoughts on the latest version.
When Wartorn hits Early Access, you’ll experience:
The Villa Hub: Your home base for upgrading heroes, swapping weapons, and unlocking powerful passive abilities.
Roguelite Progression: Discover heirlooms, trinkets, and upgrades that persist across runs, making every playthrough unique and rewarding.
Dynamic Combat: Command squads of goblins, elves, demons, and more, using the elemental system to outsmart enemies with strategic combos.
A Rich Narrative: Follow Yara and Elani as they face tough choices and emotional moments on their quest to reunite their family.
The Overworld Map: Explore branching paths, manage resources like hope and food, and care for your squad as you navigate the Isles of Talaur.
