Version 1.1 went live today which among other things feature a new improved game UI plus Steam logins so you don't have to register an account or log in manually any longer.

We tried to make it so anyone who already had an account registered will be automatically get their account linked to their Steam login but please let us know if you experience any issues. Playing an human opponent is really recommended as the tactics you will have to use will change a lot compared to playing the AI who is pretty predictable at the moment. We're still looking at improving the AI and maybe add some different "personalities" to how it plays but for now the main focus is on online and hopefully we can enable Steam notifications next.

We are also well aware that people who never played The Battle for Hill 218 (or who are new to this sort of game in general) have had a hard time getting to grips with the rules and have added a new in-game tutorial/manual which is available either from the main menu or from the settings menu at any time when playing a game. The manual goes through all the basics of supply, attack and support fire and also illustrates how some of the special units operate.

Any questions or problems please let us know. Reviews are also super appreciated!
