Hello everyone, I am the Executive Planner for the Ease Out project.
I am writing this letter today with a heavy heart to say: We are sorry.Recently, our indecision regarding the game's pricing strategy has caused significant confusion and inconvenience. Previously, due to hesitation in our internal decision-making and a lack of market consideration, we hastily changed the game from "Free" to "Paid." After listening to your feedback and conducting numerous internal reviews, we deeply realize that this decision deviated from our original intention in making this game. Our fundamental wish for Ease Out has always been for as many people as possible to experience its fun and relaxation without any barriers. Therefore, we have made the final decision: Ease Out will be readjusted from a paid purchase back to Free to Play.We hope that no matter when, you can easily open the game and enjoy this musical journey. To the players who have already purchased the base game, we know that a simple apology is not enough to make up for our mistake. To express our regret and gratitude, we promise:When the Full Release of Ease Out launches, we will gift a Paid Music Pack (Extra DLC) for free to all players who purchased the game prior to this adjustment. This music pack is planned to be priced at $1 (equivalent to the price you paid for the base game) and includes a set of new song levels that we have carefully crafted. We know that trust is hard to earn, and our mistakes have tarnished that trust. Thank you for continuing to follow us and criticize us amidst this chaos. In the future, we will treat every decision with greater caution and return to our creative roots.Once again, we sincerely ask for your forgiveness!
Additionally, we would like to showcase the results of our development over the past six months!
1.Chart Editor: UI redesign, charting, function editing, JSON import/export, and level settings are basically complete.
2.Level Gameplay: Rhythm game mechanics such as chart reading, falling notes, various note judgments, and combos are basically complete. (Note: The image below is a work-in-progress version; it demonstrates the core gameplay. Team formation and enemy battles shown are reference concepts and not yet implemented.)
3.Team & Skills: Based on the core gameplay, Character Team Formation and Skill Implementation are currently under development. (The image below is a work-in-progress version.)
4.Future Implementation: Features such as Enemy Formation, Score Settlement, and Light Character Progression will be implemented sequentially. We will determine the Beta Test date soon and release new slots for players who have been waiting eagerly (players who previously obtained beta access will retain their spots). We hope for your continued support and crave your beneficial feedback!
With sincere gratitude,The Executive Planner & The Entire Development Team of Ease Out
