Hello Adventurers!🚀
WOW, we are absolutely blown away! The number of new players jumping into the eWorlds since yesterday has been mind-boggling. We honestly didn't expect this massive and sudden influx, and it’s been amazing to see so many of you exploring our worlds.🥰💜
Because things got so crazy so fast, our servers had a hard time keeping up. We sincerely apologize to anyone who experienced crashes, connection issues, or couldn't get past the Hub. To fix this, we are temporarily expanding our server capacity to handle the crowd so everyone can play smoothly!
To make sure your journey is as smooth as possible, here are some cool features you can tweak in the menus:
👤 Single Player Mode: Prefer to explore and master the platforming at your own pace without interference? Just go to Settings > Gameplay > Single Player Mode > Enabled, and the game will create a private Lobby just for you. (Note: You cannot join friends in this mode).
⚔️ Disable Non-PVP Areas: Craving some chaos? By default, some platforming areas have safe zones. If you disable this setting, your name will turn red, and you’ll be able to fight and use powerups against other red-named players!
🤝 Player Interactions (Friends, Blocks & Reports): You can easily add other players as a Steam Friend directly in-game! On the flip side, if someone is being inappropriate or intentionally ruining the fun, you can Block or Report them to keep your experience safe and enjoyable.
Just go to Settings > Social
📸 Hide the HUD: Want to take some clean screenshots of the worlds? Simply press Alt + U on your keyboard to hide the user interface completely.
⏱️ Speedruns: Thanks to a wonderfully dedicated community member (❤️), eWorlds has an official entry on Speedrun.com If you are motivated to set new Best Times in your favorite Time Trials, head over there and share your gameplay: 👉 eWorlds Speedrun Forums
📌 A note about the future and our transition to paid model
As a reminder, eWorlds is transitioning to a Paid model ($3.99) this upcoming April 16th precisely to cover these server costs and keep the game alive.
We want to be completely transparent with all of you, for now eWorlds is a completed, handcrafted adventure. Because of this, there is no further development or new content planned at this time. If the opportunity arises in the future, we would love to create more, but right now, our goal is to present a finished, closed experience for an accessible price.
