The Idea Behind Rent a Girl

Rent a Girl was born from a simple question: what if a relationship that starts with a contract ends up revealing something deeply real about who we are?

The idea came while reflecting on loneliness, self-perception, and the challenges of connecting with others in a fast-paced, often superficial world. Inspired by classic visual novels and modern coming-of-age stories, we wanted to explore how “fake” relationships can lead to genuine emotional growth.

From the beginning, our goal was to create more than a romance simulator. We wanted to tell a story about vulnerability, discovery, and empathy. That’s why each heroine in Rent a Girl doesn’t just represent a different culture — she also represents a distinct emotional path. As you meet Lin, Seo-Yoon, Ana, Rin, or Katya, you’ll be challenged to listen, observe, and make choices that shape more than just the ending — they shape the journey.

We’re now in the final stages of development. Recent weeks have been focused on balancing, refining the choice system, finalizing localization into six languages, and polishing the overall experience.

The journey is almost ready — and we can’t wait for you to begin yours.

Thank you for being with us so far.
