SRT v1.17: F1 25, new file format and more!

we're thrilled to introduce Sim Racing Telemetry v1.17.0! This update brings full support for F1 25 right out of the box — complete with dynamic wheel camber insights and a brand-new feature that translates cryptic telemetry values like “DRS 1” into clear and concise readings such as “DRS On” and “Terrain Tarmac”. And that’s just the start: keep your eyes peeled for our upcoming Racing Line feature for F1 25.

But there’s more under the hood! We’re rolling out a new SRT file format that shrinks file sizes by a third — meaning faster telemetry load times and extra space for your data. All your existing files will auto-convert on startup (so, just a brief wait and you’re good to go).

We didn’t stop there. Enjoy a slew of quality-of-life enhancements, from an intuitive guided tour mode to a refreshed game selection screen loaded with session counts, dates, convenient tooltips, sortable columns, and speedy multi-threading. Plus, dive right in with pre-recorded sessions that showcase the full power of the app — no recording required.
