Welcome back, Screamers!
We're back again with a new trailer showing all the game modes you can try out with Screamer.
At the heart of the game is the Tournament. In this story mode, you can unveil all of Mr. A's secrets and experience the thrilling tales of the five teams taking part in this high-octane competition.
In the Arcade menu, you can find many modes that will test your skills behind the wheel. In Race!, you can race freely offline and choose the competition rules. You can use all unlocked characters on all available tracks and modify the number of laps and participants. You can also choose to race against team members only, leaders only, or create mayhem in a brutal free-for-all.
Team Race, on the other hand, is a new mode that elevates Screamers' mechanics. You can race in a duo or trio against other teams, aiming to finish the race with as many points as possible. You can obtain points not only for your final position, but also for actions performed on the track and KOs executed. This mode can be played alone, against the CPU, or online with friends.
Score Challenge captures the spirit of old arcades and brings it into the Screamer universe. In this mode, you will take part in a series of races, challenges, and boss battles to accumulate points and claim your place at the top of the leaderboard.
In the Overdrive Challenge, you must stay in the Overdrive status for as long as possible; if you touch a wall, you will spectacularly explode. In Checkpoints, you will have to cross as many checkpoints as you can before the timer runs out, while in Time Attack, you're invited to reach the best lap time in three attempts. Each of these modes has a global leaderboard where you will be able to see your progress and that of players from all around the world.
Finally, in the Multiplayer menu, you can challenge your friends –thanks to the split-screen mode for up to four players – and race against other players via the online mode.
