We’ve got some exciting news to update you all with as we continue making the MuseSwipr experience even better!
As some of you may know, we've been working on a updated version of the MuseSwipr editor (known as "Editor v2") which is currently separate from the MuseSwipr game itself. We're working hard behind the scenes on Editor v2, which will eventually be built into the game - though, this is a big project.
As part of this ongoing update to MuseSwipr's editor, we want to phase out 'v1' maps by removing Editor v1 (the current in-game editor) in the next update.
In the mean time, you can still make your own custom maps using Editor v2 which you can grab from our Discord, or the Google Drive link.
If you've got some Editor v1 maps you want to convert to the v2 format, here's what you can do:
1. Open the Timing Point Panel (F6) in your map
2. Hit Ctrl+G to copy your map
3. Paste them into Editor v2 with Ctrl+V
(V1 maps that are on the Steam workshop will continue to work, so no need worry about those!)
If you need any support, feel free to reach out to us on the MuseSwipr Discord!
Updates have been a little bit sparse, but that's because we have been working hard behind the scenes on big updates! We want the community to have something to look forward to though, so here's a sneak peek of some of the big things we're working on:
🎨 UI visual overhaul - giving MuseSwipr a less... 'derivative' look when it comes to the user interface... and adding a ton of features based on feedback!
🏆 Scoring updates, better leaderboards, and... a ranking system??
🎶 And of course, more built-in songs from amazing featured artists!
We’re super excited about what’s coming next, and we couldn’t do it without our amazing community (speaking of, you should totally join our Discord here: https://discord.com/invite/NQ7UvKaU6z)
