Hello! This is a relatively minor update to improve the performance in certain areas and fix a few annoying bugs.
Upgraded the engine to Godot 4.6.1! This shouldn't mean much to most players, but if you are playing on DirectX due to Vulkan issues, you should find the game more stable, and some broken shader effects have been fixed by this upgrade :) yippie!!! Let us know in the steam discussions or through email at [email protected] if any new crashing or bugs occur after this update, we will be keeping an eye out!
Removed baked lightmaps from The Beenie Church and BLMB Reactor Core to make them load instantly, instead of causing the game to hold on a black screen for an extended period of time
Reduced the number of particles in certain levels to improve performance on lower end machines
The raccoon no longer drops items when jumping into train portals
Removed driving test from level select after reaching Blimbo Village (you can still get back there through the way you enter Blimbo Village)
Average Canadian can now be collected in Blimbo City (FOR REAL THIS TIME I PROMISE)
Removed Beenie's Ascension from level select (you all were finding it too easily)
The pause menus will no longer be disabled permanently if you return to BLMB Reactor and remove the cooling rod again
greenish abomination can no longer escape the church and follow the player around
Hintblo will appear to offer useful advice when streamer mode is enabled
