Jushiro can inflict Slow+ with all of his attacks apart from his second and third strong attacks, allowing him to slow the movement and normal attack speed of enemies and seal away their ability to use strong attacks, Special Moves, and Flash Steps. As a "+" type status ailment, Slow+ can be stacked with other status ailments, maximizing the impact of status effects.
Jushiro's second strong attack is a Boost that, when combined with the skills "Booster" and "Enhancer," greatly boosts both the offensive and defensive capabilities of himself and his allies.
His third strong attack features the debut of a major party-wide healing technique, which allows him to heal the whole party even without the "Medic" skill.
