How are you all? I hope you’re doing well! Many days have passed since version 1.2.0, and what initially seemed like a small 1.2.1 update eventually grew into version 1.3.0. I’m very proud of this version — you wouldn’t believe how many improvements have been made. There are so many that I’ll probably forget some, but I’ll try to cover the most important ones. This version includes:
You can now move using only the mouse: left and right click to walk, and the mouse wheel to propel yourself forward.
Ground detection has been improved and now correctly adapts to terrain inclination, enhancing the feeling of movement in several parkour areas.
A new camera lens effect has been added, introducing a subtle vertical wave distortion along with slight chromatic aberration.
A new room has been added after the jumping tutorial section to prevent location confusion.
The King’s Path has been reworked to make it more challenging.
The entire maze has been improved, with redesigned rooms and new access from the map to the trophy room and even to the character who constantly talks to you during the game.
The entrance to the balloon area has been redesigned to feel more coherent and now includes a snowy cave section featuring moles wearing little hats.
In several locations, you can now go back to previous areas (such as cave entrances and covered rooms). This change is not yet present in all areas of this style but will be expanded in future updates.
A mysterious giant tree has been added, which will become relevant in a future update.
The parkour route toward the crab now includes a shortcut from the exit of the King’s Path, allowing players to reach it without replaying the entire final boat section.
All portal dialogues have been rewritten to match the new character.
There are now 21 possible stumble messages; previously there were only 5, which became repetitive over time.
Death events now include additional tribe variations distributed across different situations.
The streamer Phia has been added as an easter egg as a thank you for supporting the game through her streams. You can find her somewhere on the map and in the first ending!
The rainbow material has been updated to feature more motion and visual dynamism.
