We got over 100k wishlists in just five (5!!) days after the announcement. We are SO happy and grateful for everyone’s support, it's still a little hard to believe this! From everyone on the team: thank you T_T

Also, just knowing that a lot of people are enjoying our weird ideas is incredibly motivating. We promise to do our best to make the best game we possibly can!

The numbers keep going up…

For this month’s update, we thought we’d show you a little bit of the food in Neverway (mmmhmmm). Basically, there are two ways you can eat in the game:

  1. Eat it as a snack by “equipping” it
  2. Cook it into a meal and have it for dinner or lunch, which advances time

Here's how you do it:

Now, let’s say you want a proper meal, so you get yourself a delivery of instant noodles. You can sit down and have it for lunch, like this:

We’ll cover in the next updates how exactly you can prepare and cook your food...

On another note, we want to confirm that we are looking into localizing the game to more languages! While we want to support as many as we can, we do have a limited budget, and this game has a lot of words. That said, we still have some room left, so you might hear more from us next month…

And that’s all, until next time!

Community20 Aug 2026Release update and a peek into developmentHello everyone, We’ve been hard at work on Neverway, but we’ve made the difficult decision to shift the release date to 2027. Our process has always been about understanding what you, as a player, are feeling when you play the game and making sure that aligns with the story. Seeing how the prologue resonated with so many of you, along with internal playtests, inspired us on how the later parts…Community27 Apr 2026Over half a million wishlists! So Neverway just crossed over 500k wishlists on Steam.....!!!! This is such an insane milestone. When we started working on Neverway, we never dreamed that our game would connect with so many people. It's incredibly motivating to see that all of you are enjoying this world we created. We'd also like to thank everyone who played the prologue. We are not able to reply to every comment, but we do…Neverway PrologueGame update20 Apr 2026Prologue patch 4 is here! It's been a week, and we're back with yet more random fixes! macOS: - Improved crash reporting on macOS. This won't address the few crashes that were reported (yet!!), but it'll help us investigate them going forward. Crashes: - Possibly addressed a crash when resizing the window to a very small size (?) with "snap" resolution. Bugs: - Support rebinding IJKL keys for movement - Your deep cut is…
