This month is the one‑year anniversary of UNPOC, and it still feels surreal. When I first launched the game, I hoped people would enjoy this different spin on the survival genre. Something a little calmer, a little more exploratory, a little more about building your own rhythm. What I didn’t expect was how many of you would jump in, share feedback, build incredible bases, and help shape the game into what it is now.
As a first‑time solo dev, I’ve learned a ton this year, mostly from all of you. Every comment, bug report, suggestion, and “hey, my items are falling through the world” message pushed the game forward. You helped me see what worked, what didn’t, and what needed a second (and third) pass. And honestly, that collaboration has been the best part of this whole experience.
Thank you for giving this game a chance, for sticking with it, and for helping me grow it into something I’m really proud of. Here’s to year two. More building, more exploring, and hopefully fewer bugs.
Pirate Flag - Simple raft decor. Just looks cool on your raft when you find a pirate flag.
Stew Pot - This is primary means of eating while travelling between islands. The stew pot can hold many portions of stew at the same time. To make stew, add any mixture of edible ingredients together (6 per portion). Then add water to convert ingredients to portions. To eat a portion of stew the pot must be placed over a campfire or a fireplace.
Pantry - Hold bananas, crabs, coconuts, and eggs. Food preparation station does not yet pull from the pantry, but will in future updates.
Garden plot crops now move with the raft.
Fixed missing translations for tool creations.
Added first aid station help text.
Added ramp to get out of the pirate hideout island more easily.
