First of all, thank you to everyone who has signed up for beta testing so far. The response has been phenomenal, with over 100k registrations in the first three days. It’s great to see so many of you ready to join us in Hell Let Loose: Vietnam very soon.

Please find below information on the upcoming beta tests, as well as an update on Hell Let Loose: Vietnam's cross-platform play.

First Closed Beta Testing

As a heads up, access to the beta will be rolled out in phases.

To make sure you’re in the running, please ensure you have completed the onboarding form on the FirstLook platform.

The first Closed Beta test will be Steam only.

Please note that this is a closed beta preview under NDA, and all gameplay capture is strictly prohibited.

Streaming, recording, or sharing any in-game content, including screenshots, clips, GIFs, or video, is not allowed. Violations will result in DMCA takedowns and loss of access to this and future beta tests.

However, you are free to discuss your experience with your community!

Open Beta Testing

If you’re not part of the initial Closed Beta, or if you’re playing on console, don’t worry! Our first Open Beta is planned for May, and we’ll be sharing more details across all our socials in due course.

We’re aiming for this test to be available on both PC and console, meaning Xbox Series X|S and PS5 players will be able to join the action.

To get involved in future testing, be sure to enlist on our website.

Cross-Platform Play in Hell Let Loose: Vietnam

With the Open Beta coming soon, and it being available on multiple platforms, we wanted to reopen the conversation around cross-platform play.

We know that the Hell Let Loose community plays across many different platforms, and cross-platform play is something the community cares a lot about.

Some players prefer to keep console and PC separate, while others want the option to play with friends on different platforms.

As we have developed Hell Let Loose: Vietnam, we wanted to revisit this topic and find a more flexible approach for all players and server owners.

On launch cross-platform play will be a feature in Hell Let Loose: Vietnam.

The way this will operate is that in-game servers will be clearly tagged as cross-platform play, PC only, or console only, allowing players to choose the experience that suits them.

Server owners will now also have the ability to enable cross-platform play and decide which platforms are allowed on their server. This provides greater control and flexibility, without forcing cross-platform play on all players.

We hope that this will be a welcome feature and people are excited for Hell Let Loose: Vietnam’s cross-platform play functionality.

Optimal Settings in Hell Let Loose: Vietnam

Below is a quick guide to help you set up for the best performance and visuals during the first Closed Beta of Hell Let Loose: Vietnam.

Don’t forget to hit “Apply Settings” after making changes. Video settings can be adjusted both in-game and from the main menu.

Please note that some settings may reset when restarting the game.
