🚛 Dev Log - Updated Traffic System & How It Works

Hello, truckers! 👋

This time we’d like to talk about the updated traffic system on the roads of Australia.

Unlike First Haul, the full version of the game features complex intersections, roundabouts, and cities, so we completely reworked the behavior of AI vehicles.

Now the AI-car analyzes the situation:

checks for the player and other vehicles along its driving path (red markers)
calculates possible trajectory intersections
slows down or stops to avoid collisions

Outside the cities, the new traffic behaves faster and more confidently — vehicles drive at the speed limit, instead of crawling along the highway.

Our goal is to make traffic predictable, fast, and realistic, creating a living world without getting in the player’s way.
