Welcome to the first part of a mini-series of posts in which we will gradually reveal the content of the upcoming Megapatch 04 for Chernobylite 2: Exclusion Zone. As usual, we won't reveal literally everything — that will happen on the day the update is released. But still, we can show you what we believe are the most important and exciting new features coming to the game.
🟩 Danger, danger...! 🟩
The Zone is getting more and more dangerous. Not only you do have to defend yourself against stalkers, mercenaries, and strange, otherworldly creatures, but you also need to deal with much more powerful enemies who want to keep Zone's secrets and all its treasures just for themselves, at all costs. You can try to fight them, you can try to run away from them. But regardless of which path you choose, know one thing: IT'S NOT AN EASY TASK.
And now it will be even more difficult, but at the same time—more interesting and engaging. After the update, several new main and side / optional bosses will appear in the game.
We want to introduce you to one of them - The Hellfire Fox. Remember this little guy?
That's him now. Feeling old yet?
Now, real talk. The Hellfire Fox is a powerful beast. Not only is it fast and agile, but its tails can deal damage even from a distance. Standing still isn't really recommended. Attempting to pet it isn't either.
Fun fact - we teased his appearance in our official Megapatch 03 trailer - 'Back To The Roots'.

If you can handle it, you'll be able to handle the other bosses as well.
