Greetings soldiers of Genua! 2026 is just around the corner and our team is going to take some well deserved time off around the holidays, but we’re still working hard on building the wonderful world of Aegis Force.
The team has done a ton of work preparing to release the prologue section of the demo combined with Chapter 1 for a more cohesive experience and a lot of UI updates and bug fixes! This will be available for the public to play by the end of December and we’ll post an announcement when it’s officially launched. Some of the updates include:
Resolving some boundary issues and preventing blocking objects from becoming transparent
Updated menu binding for keyboard & mouse controls and fixed some UI dropdowns not working
Adjusted music and sounds during scene transitions
Added missing lore and provided extra clue for Ruiners Pass exploration
As the team is now working on the next game chapter, we’re creating a lot of new sprites for NPCs, animals, background details, and team members. Check out what’s new for this month!
Our big highlight this month is that we participated in the Best Indie Games Winter Showcase in early December! It was amazing to show off our gameplay footage and trailer to such a large audience. Thank you to Best Indie Games for including Aegis Force in such a stacked lineup!
We’re also starting to prepare for our upcoming Kickstarter in a few months. Join our Discord to let us know your ideas on what perks you’d like to see for different support tiers and how we can keep integrating the voice of our community into the game’s active development!
We’re continuing to build the game as quickly and effectively as we can and should have lots more new sneak peeks to share next month! We’re also looking forward to participating in more game festivals and will share more as we get closer to some of our key marketing dates. Thanks again for all your feedback and support! Until next time!
