Hi everyone,
The third patch of the demo is here, and here's what to expect in-game:
- All-new box system - The aim is to overcome many of the problems of the previous system, such as unloading time (there are now fewer boxes) and the difficulty of accessing the contents of the boxes.
- A new options system (it doesn't change anything for you, except perhaps some keys to be reassigned)
- Small change in controls to accommodate the new cardboard system: R is now used by default to rotate objects and F is used to change modes. This allows you to keep the scroll wheel to navigate through the boxes.
- Reduced duration of interactions: the interactions to be held were long, which made the gameplay very rigid, especially when making recipes.
- More range on the interaction system
- Single-player game can be paused by clicking escape 🎉
- Fridge opening controls have been moved to the left click to harmonize door opening logic with other objects.
- Minor bug fixes
Which will come in the next few days:
- Translation of the game into all the languages available on the steam page (gradually).
- Dedicated cash register update to make it more satisfying and pleasant to use, and to resolve queuing bugs (I won't be able to do anything for players who actively decide to block the system by blocking customers)
- Dedicated customer update to make them more realistic and add granularity
Thanks again to everyone,
See you soon for the next patch
