Welcome to The Croaker 1.7! You all waited 8 months (About 260 days) for this, but it's finally here. Since 1.7 added so many new features, I will try my absolute best to list everything here. Chances are I forgot everything because of how long the development process was.

Added level tags

Added emeralds (Rewarded for completing a level with tags and is based on the tags)

Added Amethysts (For completing levels)

Added Daily Rewards (Can get Apples, Amethysts, and Gameplay Points from Daily Rewards)

Level Completion for online levels entirely revamped

All 50 levels completely redesigned, some even remade

Chapter-Specific finish flags

New objects: Sliders, Fragile Boxes, and Resize Pills

Added Gravity Changers, Portals, Spike Heads, Fragile Boxes, Pills, Z-Layering, Tilemap Recoloring, and Playtesting to the Level Editor

Added optimization mode (Light and heavy)

Remade the Level Selector

Added level favoriting

Added online shop, along with online skins and banners (So I can update/add any whenever I want)

UI resolution fixes

Redid most sound effects

Added a much better achievement system, as well as remade the Steam achievements and their icons

New account menu, where you can change your User Profile Description, Banner, account color, and skins. You can also save your progress, register, or log in as well as view your stats in this new menu.

Many new Post Processing and Settings Menu changes

And most likely more (Again I don't exactly remember everything)

Side note: The Ice DLC and Challenge DLC have been temporarially disabled- don't panic, as both will come back better than ever within the next month or two. (Honestly, i'm shocked anyone bought them in the first place because they were not worth it- but when they get updated, they will 100% be worth it and i'm really sorry about their lack of existence for the next few weeks)

Community16 Aug 2026The Croaker - REAL End of Life AnnouncementAs some of you may know, a few months ago I posted an End of Life announcement for The Croaker. I decided not to end it just yet, but instead, see if people actually cared: I posted an announcement relating to feature suggestions, and if people actually cared about the game, I would add the features suggested and not pull the plug on the game. Unfortunately, after 6 months, not a single feature…Community23 Jun 2026Feature SuggestionsHello everyone! I am looking for some feature requests from people who play the game. This can basically be whatever you think will make the game better. You don't have to shy away from ideas; everything is on the table (Except for obvious joke ideas)! Place your suggestions for features in the comments/discussion area of this post. An example could be platformer ghosts, which many other games…Community31 Mar 2026Maybe Not?Hello! I just noticed today that the game, out of nowhere, has had a MASSIVE boost in sales. That said, I think it is the right choice to continue working on the game at least for now to please the new players who just bought the game. If it really ends up picking up even more in sales, it will stay alive much longer. But if it declines again (Like back to averaging 0 a month) then I will proab…
