Q: What sector (server) do you recommend playing on?
A: For the smoothest experience, we recommend selecting the region closest to you. Servers will open in the order Asia → Europe → Americas due to time zone differences, so please be patient if your region isn't live yet. We also suggest that you and your Warband pick a server and faction with fewer players to reduce wait times and improve your gameplay experience.
Q: How do I know when the servers go live?
A: Server launch times are 10:00 AM local time for each region. Please check the time zones below as well as the previous server announcement, and adjust according to your local time:
Asia (SEC APAC): UTC+8
Europe (SEC EMEA): UTC+1
Americas (SEC AMER): UTC-5

Q: What should I do if I see a login/load error with code -5?
A: Make sure you're playing under a stable network connection. Using a network booster or third-party accelerator is recommended to resolve this issue.
Q: How do I claim rewards from the Allies Assemble event and previous playtests?
A: Open the [Events] menu in-game and click [Past Beta Events & Allies Assemble Rewards]. Follow the on-screen instructions to claim your rewards. Should you have any further questions, check the relevant explanations on this event page.
Q: How is the number of servers decided?
A: Server numbers are based on actual pre-registration numbers and design expectations. We ensure each server has enough players for a full experience. Rest assured: after each season, servers will be connected, allowing players from different planetary servers to interact and battle freely. We are also planning to make cross-sector battles a regular feature, so even if your friends or rivals are on different servers this season, you may face them on the battlefield next season!
Q: Which platforms is Warborne Above Ashes available on?
A: You can play via Steam, Epic Games, or the official PC client. Accounts are cross-platform, and all in-game data is shared, so no matter which platform you choose, you'll fight alongside your allies on the same battlefield.
Q: Will game progress be wiped at launch?
A: No. All data will be preserved when the game officially launches. If you can't find your character, please make sure you've selected the sector where your original character resides.
Q: Why are my purchased Solarbite divided into "Available" and "Pending Conversion" portions?
A:
To prevent misuse of the Auction House (such as dispersing funds, transferring improper gains, or bypassing platform monitoring), we've implemented two management categories for Solarbite, Available and Pending Conversion, along with holding periods and risk-control measures:
Available Solarbite: Can be used in the Auction House, donated to your Warband, spent in the Store, or exchanged for Eclipsium.
Pending Conversion Solarbite: Can be spent in the Store or exchanged for Eclipsium, but must be held for 3 days before converting into Available Solarbite.
Rules in detail:
70% of your purchased Solarbite become Available, and 30% Pending Conversion. The Pending Conversion portion becomes Available after a 3-day holding period.
As you place more orders and build account credibility, the initial proportion of Available Solarbite will gradually increase, up to 100%.
All transactions are fully tracked and monitored. If any violations occur, accounts involved will have all purchased currency revoked (including applying negative balances if necessary) and may face further penalties depending on the severity of the offense, including restricted gameplay or permanent bans.
Q: How do I switch factions?
A:
Limited-Time Availability: Faction switching is only available during specific periods each season. The exact opening and closing times will be displayed by the [Switch Faction] button in the [Faction Info] screen.
How to Switch: When faction switching is available, navigate to the [Faction Info] screen to change factions. Each player may switch only once during each limited-time period.
Q: Why did I suddenly get removed from the map during a battle?
A: When a map reaches 200 players, excess combatants are queued out to keep battles smooth. Those with lower [Combat Power] in the same priority bracket are removed first. For full details, see the latest patch notes.
Q: When does each season end?
A:
You can track your server's season progress by accessing [Season] from the menu.
When a season ends, players will experience planetary migrations and fresh matchmaking, facing new opponents and embarking on the next wave of campaigns.
Q: What is War Time?
A: War Time is the period during which attacks on Harvester Cores, Strongholds, and enemy Driftmarks are allowed.
During this prime time, Warbands carry out strategic planning and tactical coordination. In short, it's a time you want to capitalize on as best you can.
War Time varies by server and time zone, so check in-game for the exact schedule.
Q: How do I unlock more Drifters?
A: You can unlock additional Drifters in the Drifter Tavern, which becomes available after unlocking the Underground Bazaar.
