Communications from Drunken Duck Co.'s space station are resuming, and we're thrilled to bring you a very special announcement!
Our most beloved spaceshift is about to lift off, and our best employees are taking care of every little detail, packing every package, making sure no customer will wait another day for their delivery. But first, shall we take a look at the beautiful concept art of our game?
Concept art sheet with lots and lots of cats, in preparation to choose our little protagonist, Pistachín.
Our art team took every chance they had to make the most adorable, most qualified, most chubby, and most clumsy astronaut-cat-deliverer the universe has ever seen.
Once we chose our perfect Pistachín concept design, it was time to make him orange, the most normal orange cat of the galaxy, right?
Sometimes we look back and wonder to ourselves how Underpacked! would’ve been if our beloved Pistachín ended up being a dog, or a black cat instead. Yeah, don’t mind us, horrible thoughts to have, he is perfect, and we are so humble, yes, but what do you think?
Excellent 3D model if you ask me. Not a single thought behind those eyes.
We know, we know, the drawings are static, but everything looks nicer in motion. It’s in Spanish, too, but don’t hesitate to turn on subtitles, art knows no bounds.
And just before you go, check a look to our previous logbooks:
Space logbook #00 | The Underpacked! lift off!
Space logbook #01 | Creating a game: A galaxy-sized task
Space logbook #02 | Designing the cosmos
Space logbook #03 | Don’t panic: You Are Not Alone
So much art to admire, and so little time to make those deliveries… Well, time to get back to work, see you next company approved 5 nano-minutes mandatory break.
Thanks for tuning in one more week!
