To every single person who has purchased, played, and believed in Spire of Ash — thank you. From the bottom of my heart.
When I started this project, it was a small personal experiment. I've been a web developer for eight years, and JavaScript is the only language I've ever really worked with. So the entire game you're playing right now — every system, every battle, every screen — is built in JavaScript. I pushed it as far as I possibly could, but I've hit the technical ceiling of that architecture. That's why performance has been a pain point, and I'm sorry about that.
But here's the good news.
Thanks to your support, I've been able to purchase a massive library of professional 3D assets, and I am actively rebuilding the entire 3D portion of the game in Godot. This means:
This is my primary focus right now. I am working on this every single day. Bug fixes will continue alongside the rebuild, but make no mistake — this is the big one.
When the rebuilt version is ready, every existing customer will receive it as a free update. No extra charge. No separate purchase. You believed in this game early, and you will be rewarded for that.
I need to be honest with you — this will take some time. I am one person. But I will work day and night to make this the best game I can possibly make. You gave me the chance to turn a little JavaScript side project into a real game with real performance, real visuals, and real polish. I won't waste that chance.
Thank you for believing in the vision. Just give me a little time.
