Life at the Abbey can be peaceful and untouched by the outside world. Sometimes, though, it’s not quite that easy! With World Events, you’ll face new tasks or limitations that reward you for temporarily changing your gameplay style. This new feature is divided into three categories, each with different options:
A law has been enacted for a few months in the region! Abide by the edict for its full duration, and you'll be rewarded both during and after, though you’ll also have to deal with its limitations. Or, disregard the edict and stick to your ways, but don’t be surprised if you miss out on the reward!
Guilds are a major force in the worldwide ale market. All is peaceful until a rival guild starts stepping on their malt. When such commercial wars erupt, you’ll have to choose which Guild your Abbey will support. For the duration of the event, you’ll receive specific types of orders based on their clientele✨
Some things in this world are simply beyond control, from weather gone mad to the unexpected arrival of a stray goat. When these events occur, you’ll be able to choose how to respond. Each choice comes with its own consequences, often a mix of pros and cons.
