Today we wanna talk to you about something that’s not directly connected to Lou’s Lagoon, but that is super duper exciting for us (and you, hopefully!).
The announcement trailer for our upcoming project, Verdant, just premiered during the Wholesome Snack Showcase!!
Verdant is our upcoming singleplayer open world survival game! 🌿
It features the coming-of-age story of our hero Sprout. His mysteriously mutated arm gives him the power to take and bestow life, and trying to understand the purpose of these powers sends him on a journey through a future built on the remains of the 80s.
In this dangerous yet beautiful world, you’ll encounter mutated creatures and overgrown buildings and you’ll need to watch your steps as well as your body carefully to make sure you survive. If you do, you’ll be rewarded with wonderful moments in a beautiful apocalypse.🦌🌸

Within our studio, we always have 2 teams working on different games in parallel and supporting each other. So when Into the Emberlands released, the other team was already putting a lot of effort into Lou’s Lagoon. And now, while we are laser focused on getting Lou’s Lagoon ready for release, we already have a team working on Verdant. If anything, this usually makes work on the projects a much smoother process! 😊
