Patch 2025.06.02: VRM Support

Hi everyone,

Thank you so much for all of your support! Its been very encouraging to see how many people are enjoying LAN Party. We've got a lot of bug fixes, QoL improvement, and new features included in this update:

Features:

  • Full VRM avatar support (Create -> Avatar -> VRM)

    • Supports included physics

    • Configurable blinking

    • Mouth movement synced with mic audio

    • Toggleable facial expressions

  • Added fullscreen mode (Settings -> Video -> Fullscreen)

    • Added the ability to exit LAN Party without being in windows mode. Select "Exit LAN Party" from the in-room top menu while in a room or just hit ESC while not in a room to open the quitting popup

  • Added the ability to pan the camera in Blueprint mode

Improvements:

  • Increased maximum room square footage

  • Increased maximum ceiling height

  • Increased maximum ceiling lights

  • Rooms without a set thumbnail now have a default thumbnail

  • Changed gear button in Decor mode to "Lighting" for improved clarity

  • My Rooms menu now opens automatically after leaving a room

  • Added "Edit Room" button to in-room UI for improved clarity

  • Blueprint and Decor modes now have different help panels to avoid confusion

  • In-room help panel now has more controls listed

Fixes:

  • Spawn point is now reset to a valid position if out of bounds in a concave room

  • Fixed issue where if two users were interacting with different screens, the first users stream would be placed on both screens

  • Steam friends added during LAN Party session will now appear in "Invite Friends" menu

  • Fixed "Loading...100%" staying on the screen forever after loading into a room with no walls

  • In-room UI no longer overlaps decor/blueprint UI after entering room with an incomplete wall loop. If you've opened a room and have had the main menu button overlapping the clear walls button, this fixes that
