Greetings, Hunters.

This is Gwanghun Kim, the executive producer of ‘Solo Leveling: ARISE OVERDRIVE.’

It has already been three weeks since the launch of Solo Leveling: ARISE OVERDRIVE. We’re truly grateful for the passion you’ve shown for the game and, especially for the thoughtful feedback you’ve shared with us.

Our dev team is thoroughly reviewing every single one of the various suggestions for improvement and detailed gameplay feedback shared by our Hunters. As previously promised, each of your voices acts as a valuable 'compass' that guides our next steps.

We're working hard to and bring your valuable feedback into the game in meaningful ways, and we’re committed to doing our best to meet our Hunters' expectations.

Today, I would like to share the key improvements we're prioritizing based on your feedback.

Key Improvements

1. Reducing the Burden of Repetitive Farming

Many of you have shared the repetitive dungeon play required for weapon crafting.

Your feedback led us to revisit what the core experience of weapon acquisition and growth should feel like, and we realized that the current material requirements place too much burden on players rather than offering a sense of progression.

To improve this, we will significantly lower both the types and the amount of overall crafting materials required so Hunters can craft their desired weapons with a little more excitement.

2. Technical Stabilization Work for Co-Op Play

Many Hunters shared that they enjoy Co-Op Play but were disappointed that the flow was disrupted due to bugs and errors.

We deeply appreciate everyone who continued to play and report issues despite playing across so many different systems and environments. We should have conducted more thorough testing, and we apologize for not meeting your expectations.

This patch focuses on stabilizing Co-Op play so that you can all enjoy the game more comfortably. Following this patch, we will continue to review your feedback and strive to further refine the game.

3. Pet Movement Related Improvements

We received strong feedback that pets collect items too slowly—so slow that many Hunters felt it was faster to pick items up manually.

Pets should be reliable companions who support the Hunter’s adventure

Thus, we have significantly enhanced pets’ functions so that it can effectively fulfill its intended role. First, we've increased the pet's movement speed, item pickup range, and reaction speed, which were the areas where players previously felt frustrated.

Also, pets will be improved so they no longer leave the battlefield. Your pets will now diligently collect items without rest, even during intense combat. From here on, leave the item collection to your pet and focus only on the excitement of combat.

In addition to the major changes mentioned above, more than 100 improvements and bug fixes will be implemented to create a more enjoyable play environment.

This patch focuses on resolving various issues so that Hunters can enjoy 'Solo Leveling: ARISE OVERDRIVE' more comfortably. The patch will be released soon along with a patch note and we look forward to sharing more exciting news next time.

Our dev team will continue to listen closely to your feedback and use them as a compass to guide our way forward. We will continue to strive to provide an even more satisfying gaming experience in return for the love and support you give us.

Thank you for always staying with us.

Sincerely,

Executive Producer, Gwanghun Kim

P.S. We are preparing a special Christmas gift for our Hunters.

To celebrate the holiday season, we'll be offering a free DLC to express our gratitude to all Hunters.

The gift is a winter costume set and hair set for the Hunter ‘Amamiya Mirei’, who sweeps across the battlefield with dazzling sword-drawing technique. Make sure to download the DLC once it’s released, and we hope you’ll dress Mirei in warm and wonderful winter clothes.

If you haven’t recruited Amamiya Mirei yet, don’t worry. We will be sending 5 ‘Hunter Reports’ to your mailbox so that you can recruit Mirei to your team.

We will continue to prepare various gifts to bring joy to our Hunters in the future. Thank you for your continued love and support.
