We have a an important update for you today. Recently, we've taken a step back to really look at where the GeoGuessr Steam Edition is today.
Based on our own discussions and reading your feedback we’ve decided to focus on a number of changes aimed at improving the Steam Edition experience, and bringing it more in line with what players expect from a GeoGuessr game. We’re not quite ready to share any details but we're confident about the path forward, and we think these changes will be a positive experience for all types of GeoGuessr players. As a result, we may be a bit quieter while we’re fully focused on building and refining what’s coming next, but you might see some new things slowly being integrated into the game. In the meantime, we’ve also shipped a few fixes and updates:
-Fixed an issue with Achievements not working correctly (fingers crossed)
-Re-enabled chat in Quickplay Team Duels (now with chat filter in place)
-Updated the Quickplay map from The World to A Figsy World We’re looking forward to sharing more when the time is right,
