It has been a long time since the last update. Besides forming a new small team with friends, I have reflected a lot on this game. One of the issues is that the map experience is too monotonous.

So I researched random map logic for a while, and last month I finally found a way to create it. It made me very happy, but it also came with many problems that caused me a lot of frustration.

However, I finally completed it and am now updating it for everyone to experience.

1. This is a new feature in the Survivor Base; you can see it is a modified vehicle. You can reach the difficulty level you want to challenge by consuming fuel.

2. The map is constructed in a fully random way. The locations of gas stations and damaged villages change every time, and the positions of powerful creatures inside also vary.

3. A house can be your cover or a death sentence. Figuring out how to use the terrain is one of the joys of this gameplay.

4. You can buy fuel at the base or find it by searching the map; the choice is entirely up to you.

5. In this map set, I have placed one-time high-value chests at certain fixed locations. If you understand the hidden drop mechanics well, I believe this will be a shortcut for your equipment progression.

6. Find the sports car in the map; it will take you back home or start a new challenge.

7. It is worth mentioning that starting the next challenge directly without returning to the base will not reset your skills and level. If you have formed a module you are good at, you can try continuous challenges.

8. Finally, this challenge is very difficult. New players should start by collecting equipment from the basic difficulty level first. Death will cause you to drop the equipment in your backpack, which is not friendly to new players. Therefore, new survivors must progress step by step.

Last but not least, this is an apology to veteran players. During development, I discovered some bugs that required modifying save files. I tried many methods and finally achieved the current result. Using old save files to directly challenge random map levels may cause error messages, or there may be a chance of crashing when buying fuel directly.

(Solution: Complete a full challenge of an old level to refresh the save data once, and then the save file can continue to be used.)

When the game was first released, some players feedback that my translations were poor. I originally wanted to update the story content but put it on hold due to translation issues. Now AI is very powerful, and I believe I can use AI to improve the translations. Please look forward to my subsequent content updates. Thank you all for your continued support here.

After four straight hours of repeated testing to reproduce the error, I’ve suc…Apocalypse SurvivorsGame update3 Jun 2026Engine Update NoticeThe engine upgrade introduced several unforeseen issues, for which we sincerely apologize.
